Story
Hi there,
My beautiful almost 8 year old daughter Giuliana has decided she would love to raise money by chopping off her beautiful long hair and donating it to make wigs for people in need. I couldn’t be more prouder especially since we have had so many loved ones leave us to cancer and this is her but to make a difference.
I’ve created this fundraising page to help Melanoma Institute Australia reach zero deaths from melanoma.
Australia has the highest rates of melanoma in the world. Melanoma is the most common cancer affecting 20 to 39-year-old Australians and one Australian is diagnosed with the disease every 30 minutes. It is estimated 1300 Australians will die from melanoma this year.
With your help, the funds we raise will support MIA’s world-class research, treatment, and education programs to save lives from melanoma.
