Story

After I lost my beautiful sister Emily to Brain cancer. It became very important for me to continue her legacy and to create awareness. Our fundraiser also follows Professor. Richard Scolyers, a leading melanoma specialist who has been diagnosed with brain cancer. Both His and Professor Georgina Long’s groundbreaking research in immunotherapy has seen incredible results which has so far helped to prolong Richard’s life.

In May this year the state budget revealed that medical research funding will be cut from $30.5 million to 7.5 million over four years. This is truly devastating for the breakthroughs some trials are creating.
